Be Kind

We have been living in unprecedented times so far in 2020. This book is a tiny reminder that there is still hope and kindness in the world. It’s the reminder that out of all the fear and darkness, we can still find inspiration.

Over 40 people collaborated to create this pocket book which is a collection of short, inspiring stories, poetry, artwork, photography, and affirmations. The intention is for you to open this book whenever you feel you need to be uplifted, and you’ll find something within the pages to show you the goodness and light in the world.

Contributions

Made to Overcome

Within this collaboration, twelve powerful women share deeply personal stories about caregiving for loved ones who have experienced illness, are diagnosed with disabilities, and/or struggle with complications from aging.

We All Belong

As Michelle Obama would say, “There is no limit to what women can do.” In this bold, yet reflective and creative “work of heart,” twelve women openly share how they are rising above racism, discrimination, and bullying, and how we can all promote and cultivate inclusion, unity, and kindness around us.

I Quit

This book will be a compilation of stories of people who quit things, attitudes, mindsets, and behaviors to become the better version of themselves.

Rising Above
Many lose their sense of worth, their identity, their purpose, and their voice. The brave men and women who shared their stories in this book made the decision to be SILENT NO MORE! They found supernatural strength to turn trauma into resilience, not just for their sake, but also for the sake of others.
